i've seen firsthand a lot of "toxic positivity" espoused by musicians on big stages. keeping it only positive really limits the depth of one's experience. life is all of the above. it's not just one or the other. i love positivity that is earned, by working through the darker sides of oneself. it can feel daunting, but it takes a lot of work to be this amazing, babe.
